“There’s Not One Gold Button.”

27 Jan

I thought this sounded awful at first when Karl Lagerfeld said it at his 2010 couture presentation for Chanel. “There’s Not One Gold Button.” This echoed in my head like a bad nightmare. No gold buttons at a Chanel show? Has Karl gone mad? The man is a genius and again, he proves us skeptics wrong. This was the most beautiful show I have seen in years. Karl used nothing but silver, gold and pastel colors in his couture collection. For me, that’s heaven. And the bows…between this and the Louis show…seriously going to start buying bows for the next six years straight….

That’s really crazy! It actually kind of goes with the Dior show — the colors or something. Great post!!!
