Live From New York: An Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live

27 Jul

I would have to say that most of my favorite actors were actually part of the Saturday Night Live cast at one time or another, including  Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell. The SNL book titled “Live From New York: An Uncensored History of Saturday Night Live” is a gossip-filled behind-the-scenes look at the full history behind the often controversial show. I’ve leafed through this before and I actually want to sit down and read it thoroughly this time. It’s not to be missed. ($30, Amazon.com)

Wow! I am an SNL fanatic, and I actually have never heard of this book. I recently read Tina Fey’s “Bossy Pants” and it was hilarious. I’ll have to order this book to look more into it! I am doing a blog on strictly SNL so this would give me some great intel! The fact that this book is told by the stars, the guests, and the writers of SNL is really unique. Great suggestion! 🙂
