Since the weather has gotten a bit cooler (in New York anyway..), I have been inspired to step up my fall make-up game. But I feel like everytime I go to Sephora, M.A.C., department store, etc, they just don’t get it right. Every artist is so timid, while I have created the mod/beachy look since I was a teenager.
Well, I think I just found my cosmetic soulmate. Tanya Burr is a U.K. based make-up artist that has a rather large following on YouTube. I actually discovered her in this month’s U.K. Elle in the “My Make-Up Bag” feature. She is absolutely beautiful and seems to subscribe to the same kind of looks that I love, very Brigitte Bardot inspired.

What I love most about Burr’s videos is that she is so down-to-earth, without an ounce of snobbery to her. Her videos are not contrived and it’s very obvious that she really stands by the products she speaks to (translation…no endorsement dollars here).
