About Rich Girls and Roller Skates

Rich Girls and Roller Skates is a fun and lighthearted take on personal style, travel and pop culture. It was named after Jennifer Foster’s obsession with all rich girls in 80’s movies and books such as the Sweet Valley twins and Blair Warner from Facts of Life. She’s also rather fond of the disco era, which influenced her greatly while growing up.

RGRS is a reference for anyone who wants to read about fun clothing, unique places to shop, style icons, travel destinations, new talent, music, movies and more. With posts almost daily, the author leaves the attitude at home and features products and ideas from $1 to the thousands, allowing accessibility as well as room to dream big.

Jennifer Foster is the founder of Rich Girls and Roller Skates. She has worked for the biggest names in the fashion industry including  Bergdorf Goodman, Ralph Lauren and Harper’s Bazaar. She is also a freelance writer and has worked as a freelance stylist for national ad campaigns and  editorials. Born and raised in New York, Jennifer currently resides in Connecticut.
